Since Ilhan Omar was elected to Congress, she has been a consistent voice for working families — even if it meant making herself a target for vicious attacks.

In the wake of George Floyd's murder, she fought for new standards in policing, including banning police choke holds, no-knock warrants, racial profiling, and qualified immunity.

She has introduced bills to reform law enforcement, including protecting protesters First Amendment rights, and she has introduced the Homes For All Act, a groundbreaking piece of legislation that will invest $1 trillion in public housing.

Ilhan has also been an outspoken proponent for Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, and canceling student debt.

But now, a right-wing Super PAC is spending 400,000 to defeat her. This is a serious threat, and we can’t get complacent or take Ilhan’s place in Congress for granted.
