Trump and House Republicans are trying to take food right out of kids’ mouths and put the livelihoods of millions of working families at risk.

This week, the Trump administration ordered a halt to “all federal financial assistance” — which threatened to take away programs that millions of us rely on like Medicaid, disaster relief, farm aid, student loan programs, Head Start programs that help kids, highway funds, nutrition assistance, rent assistance, and even more.

If we don't stop them, Trump and Congressional Republicans are set to cause immense and immediate pain to millions and millions of working people — Republicans and Democrats, in red states and blue alike. It's also part of their larger plan.

Republicans want to make you believe government simply can't deliver for ordinary people, so they're going to break it to make sure it can't — and to make sure they can keep giving billionaires more tax cuts.
