Donald Trump just used his executive power to veto a bipartisan resolution that would have reversed his unconstitutional national emergency declaration and stopped him from building his bigoted border wall. Time and time again, the President has abused his authority to get what he wants, even if it’s opposed by the majority of Americans.

But this move is particularly outrageous. The resolution passed through both Chambers with widespread bipartisan and popular support. But Trump’s use of the veto power shows he cares more about his racist border wall than the will of the American people. We need both Chambers of Congress to reverse Trump’s veto with a two-thirds majority and end the national emergency once and for all.  Add your name to our petition, and let’s finish the job.
